    Lanivatti's Beyond Borders Launch, 22 January 2021

LANIVATTI is proud to launch our very first capsule collection and brand introduction on January 22nd 2020. Taking place in Lucy in The Sky, SCBD, Jakarta, the event is attended by fashion and lifestyle media as well as the key industry people, and fully supported by our partners Tencel Indonesia and Harper's Bazaar Indonesia.

Composed of multiple different art and fashion experiences, the event has delivered new ideas and concepts in three key areas of today's fashion industry: luxury, utility and sustainability.

Beyond Borders 2020 Launch brought the fashion industry's brightest and boldest minds together to join the movement to change fashion for the better. In a world where the fashion industry is the second largest polluter, the industry must evolve with clear purpose and transparency to make an impact. This event aimed to promote sustainability and social responsibility within the industry.

One of the highlights of the event is the Fiber Installation, created by Fransiscus Raymond H (ANTIARCH) and Archie Tobias. The installation highlights our commitment to source our materials with sustainability top-of-mind. The material  used to make responsible, biodegradable fibers as well as the process is displayed as art installations ( wood, pulp, yarn, fiber and fabric, respectively), and arranged organically to inform the audience about the step-by-step process of creating a responsible material.

The Fiber Installation tells the story about how LANIVATTI's garment is made.

The event's final and most awaited moment was the showcase of Beyond Border's Capsule Collection. To set the scene, Lucy in The Sky has been transformed to a runway bathed in natural light, all purposely done not only to energize and engage our audience, but also to reduce energy waste. Twenty key womenswear looks from the collection were showcased, all gracefully worn by the WYNN Models.

This event was created with sustainability top-of-mind. Organizers, vendors, sponsors, and everyone involved has work together towards reducing the impact including reusing materials to a waste management system.
